Bookstore Return Policy
Return privileges vary according to merchandise category.
- All returns require an original register receipt or invoice (from web orders.)
- Credit and/or debit cards must be physically present for all return or refund transactions inside the store.
Merchandise Categories:
- General merchandise (Apparel, gifts, supplies) may be returned within 14 business days with receipt.
- Tradebooks may be returned within 14 business days with receipt.
- Non-returnable items: Electronics, calculators, sale & clearance items;
opened access codes, unsealed software, cd-roms and tapes.
- Textbooks return privileges vary by semester (see table below).

All NEW textbooks must be unmarked and in saleable, like-new condition and contain all components
to qualify for a refund.
*Textbook Refunds after the first 7 (Seven) business days of the Fall and Spring semester
The University Bookstore will review withdrawals and extenuating circumstances
on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the following policy;

No full refunds will be granted after the last day of the fifth week of the semester.
(Exception: See General Textbook Return Policy) Customers are then eligible to sell their books
back to the Bookstore. Buyback prices will vary throughout the semester, but the customer
will receive the best market price for their books during our store buyback period
at the end of the semester. Customers can check the buyback prices on our website
** For purposes of these procedures, withdrawal is defined as students
who give official notification of their withdrawal to the University
after a semester/session begins. (This does not apply for withdrawals
associated with Military duty)
