University Bookstore - Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The University Bookstore exists to provide students, faculty and staff with timely and convenient access
to adopted course materials, trade books, academic supplies, and official University of Maine merchandise and gifts
in a professional and customer-friendly manner.

The University Bookstore supports this Mission Statement through the accomplishment of three goals:
  • 1. All adopted course materials, academic supplies and official University merchandise are readily available at affordable prices.
  • 2. The University Bookstore is an active participant in the University community, promoting the University of Maine as a high quality institution.
  • 3. The University Bookstore's net profit contributions to campus support student initiatives and campus life aligned with the University mission.
