• stock an optimal supply of books by the first day of classes

HOW? Faculty play a key role by submitting book requests early in the semester via their preferred method:

• using the online textbook requisition system
• submitting a textbook requisition form
• contacting our textbook department at 581-1700 or UMaine Bookstore on First Class

WHEN? The University Bookstore will alert faculty on requisition deadlines each semester. In general, orders are due by:

• mid-October for spring semester textbooks
• mid-March for summer and fall semester textbooks
